Who is eligible for the scholarship?
The scholarship is open to young stock contractors 18 or younger who demonstrate a genuine passion for the bucking bull industry and consistent participation in ABBI events.
What is the application deadline?
Applications must be finalized and submitted by October 1st, 2026. This allows the Judges time to review candidates before the annual presentation at the ABBI World Finals in Las Vegas.
What materials are required for the application?
Applicants are required to submit a personal essay that reflects the 2026 topic, their detailed record book, and their profit and loss statements. The essay will be presented by the applicant in front of the Judges in Las Vegas at the ABBI World Finals.

How are scholarship recipients chosen?
The Judges evaluate applications based on their Record Book, presentation of their essay, their interview and their Profit & Loss Statement. Along with, industry involvement, character, and the degree to which the applicant reflects Carsen Perry's values of sportsmanship and dedication to the bucking bull world.
When and where is the scholarship awarded?
The annual recipient is presented with the scholarship at the ABBI World Finals in Las Vegas during the Final events, honoring Carsen’s Junior Reserve World Champion legacy.
